Public Office, City of Franklin

In 2000, a decade after opening his small business in Franklin, Ohio, Scott ran for, and was elected to Franklin City Council. He wanted to affect positive change for small business owners in Franklin.

Scott's experience serving as an elected official in Franklin, coupled with his business and community leadership, give him a unique perspective, desirable for elected officials. Scott truly understands the affects that over-regulations can have on Main Street.

"I've worked with public sector, private sector, elected officials, community and non-profit leaders -- all of them! And I've learned important things from each and every person I've worked with in my time on Council."

"One thing they've all helped me to understand is how important it is for those we send to Columbus to remember who their decisions impact the most -- from fiscal policy, to social issues, especially defending our Second Amendment rights, We need officials who truly represent the people. That is something we did in Franklin!"

"My family and I love Franklin and we love Warren County. We live here. We work here. We've made memories here. Both of my daughters graduated from Franklin High School. I turned down opportunities, professionally, just to stay here. Our businesses have thrived, we've hired our friends and neighbors, to help us and grow with us."

Columbus needs the experience Scott Lipps can bring to the table, and so does Warren County.
